Reimagined Exteriors

The exteriors of the 2020 Hyundai Sonata personify a coupe design blended with a new fastback styling that gives it a unique persona. The front grille is now even more curvy, and the hexagonal pattern adds even more aggression. The highlight is the addition of new headlight styling with LED daytime running lights, LED headlights and automatic light control that are all part of the standard fittings. The rear is beautifully detailed with standard LED taillights and a light bar that runs across width. The top three trim levels feature a Sport front and rear bumper fascia. The center of attention is the 8-inch color touchscreen with HD Radio on the SE and SEL. The SEL Plus and Limited come fitted with a 10.25-inch color touchscreen that additionally has navigation, traffic flow, incident data, HD radio, Sirius XM and Blue Link. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are all standard. The top three trims can be fitted with a 12.3-inch LED cluster, proximity key with push button start. A color heads-up display raises the excitement on the Limited. Premium cloth seating comforts you on the SE and SEL while the SEL Plus features Leatherette bolster support and Suede insets. Driver seats are 8-way power adjustable with power lumbar support on the top three.

GDI Powered Engines

All the Sonata models come with Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) engines. The SE and SEL are fitted with a 191 hp, 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine which delivers 181 lb-ft torque, while the SEL Plus and Limited sport a 1.6-liter Turbo 4-Cylinder variant that churns out 180 hp with 195 lb-ft of torque. The engine on the SE is tuned to use Hyundai’s Idle Stop & Go technology which makes it a valuable choice.

The 2020 Hyundai Sonata has exciting new safety features that deploy Hyundai Smart Sense suite of technologies that boost confidence.
